Banana bread

Recently we had more than 20 pieces bananas at home. No matter how much we love them, it is not realistic to think that we can eat them all before they overripe. However I made myself a banana shake, but there goes again I got 18-19 pieces. I was wondering what to prepare with them and I decided to bake a banana bread :)

I google-ed ''banana bread'' and chose one of the images. I wanted the recipe to be extremely fast and easy to make. I couldn't spend a lot of time at the ''holy place'' /aka kitchen/ this day :)

I was wondering what it will turn out at the end and nervously keep an eye to the oven, while it was baking. When I tried it, it had a-rather taste of a loaf, than a bread and it was something like sweet bread. Probably can be cooked with less sugar, but i decided to keep the weigh prescription for the first time.

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces bananas;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 1/2 tea cups sifted flour;
  • 2/3 tea cup melted butter'
  • 1/2 tea cup sugar;
  • 1 tsp baking soda;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 0.04 pounds shelled sunflower seeds;

Preparation:
Beat the egg with a fork into a bowl. Add the sugar and the salt, after that the melted butter /it can be made with olive oil/ and mix again. It is not necessary to use a mixer, but a fork.
Add the flour with the baking soda and half of the seeds and mix while you have homogeneous mixture.
Grease the baking tray with melted butter.
Pour the mixture into the tray and bake it in preheated oven on 175C degrees for an hour /can be more/.

Bon appetite and until the next time! :)
